Precautions for nursing scars after caesarean section

After a long-term investigation, it is found that some women do not pay much attention to scar care, and they especially put forward precautions for female friends:

   1. Do not remove the scab on the incision prematurely after the operation. Premature removal of the scab will take away the epidermal cells that are still in the repair stage, and even tear off the dermal tissue, and stimulate the wound to appear itch.

   2. Avoid sunlight and prevent the formation of pigmentation caused by ultraviolet rays.

  3. Improve diet, eat more fruits, eggs, lean meat, skins and other foods rich in vitamin C, E and essential amino acids. These foods can promote blood circulation and improve epidermal metabolism. Avoid eating hot peppers, onions, garlic and other aggressive foods.

  4. Keep the scar area clean and hygienic, wipe off sweat in time, do not scratch with your hands, rub the scar with clothes or scald with water to stop itching, so as not to aggravate local irritation, promote connective tissue inflammatory reaction, and cause further itching. When the wound is just healed, there will be some secretions, which is the best place for bacteria to grow. Moreover, the epidermis of the wound is not clean enough at this time, which can easily cause infection and ulceration. During this period, it can be cleaned with a neutral detergent.

  5. Scars cannot be completely removed, but prevention in advance can prevent excessive scars from growing and restore to a very light line. Therefore, consult your doctor after the cesarean section, apply some topical silicone gel that promotes scar maturation and prevents scar hyperplasia. When using scar prevention products, the wound must be healed, dry, and complete before use.

  6. Early prevention, pay attention to the method of preventing scar formation at the beginning, and prepare to prevent scar formation at every stage.
