How to deal with scalds urgently

In addition to chemical burns, other scalds must first keep the wound clean and rinse immediately with clean cold water, which can temporarily relieve the pain. In severe cases, go to the hospital as soon as possible.

1. Chemical burns: This kind of burns is complicated, and corresponding chemical reagents should be selected for emergency treatment. If burned by acidic reagents, you can wash with plenty of water, then apply weak alkaline reagents or wash with soap; For burns, rinse with plenty of water, and then apply weak acid reagents, such as vinegar.

2. Ordinary mild burns: If there are clothes on the affected area, first soak them in cold water, gently wash off the wounded clothes, and then gently rinse with running water. For mild burns, if there is no blistering, there is only a red mark. You can choose to rinse with cold water until it hurts. The sensation disappears; in severe cases, if blisters or ulcers appear, after washing with water, those who have not ulcerated can apply a little scald cream, and those with ulcers should keep the affected area clean and seek medical attention as soon as possible.

  3. Severe burns: For those with a slightly larger burn area or higher degree of ulceration, you should first keep the affected area clean, soak in cold water, remove clothing, and seek medical attention as soon as possible.
